Our team in Melbourne are well equipped with experienced construction industry insurance professionals with a focus on what matters to local builders in Victoria.

They look after a broad range of builders, from those undertaking smaller straightforward jobs, to those undertaking major projects with significant complexity.

Jessica Walsh

Head of Broking

Jessica joined MBIB in 2015 and held roles in both our Victorian and New South Wales branches before being appointed as Head of broking in November 2024.

Jessica's experience working across broking teams in both New South Wales and Victoria gives her valuable insight into our client's needs. She has extensive experience in the range of products available to the building industry. Her role sees her working closely with our key insurance partners, researching new markets and developing product enhancements — all to ensure that our clients have access to superior insurance coverage and services. Jessica is also passionate about ensuring our brokers have access to tools to deliver exceptional customer service to our clients. Therefore, has a strong focus on developing and implementing process and procedure enhancements for our broking teams.

Jessica has worked in the general insurance industry for the past 10 years and has a Diploma of Insurance Broking from NIBA.

A reality TV superfan, Jess studies a psychology degree in her spare time and can be found most afternoons running around the park with her dog, Bronte.
