Michael Wood Chief Financial Officer

Michael joined MBIB in 2010 as Chief Financial Officer after holding similar roles at major broking houses such as Willis. He has over 20 years of experience in senior management, operations and finance roles within the insurance broking industry. 

Michael has been a constant in MBIB’s Executive Management team and an integral part of the business’s ongoing success through his leadership and involvement at both a strategic and operational level. He has extensive experience with both financial management and AFSL compliance, ensuring the company meets all its legal and licence obligations.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Deakin University and is a CPA.

In between trying to stay fit and keeping up with the family calendar, Michael enjoys listening to the greatest band of all time – Queen.
