Why do you need this policy?

Here is an example:

On the way home from site one afternoon, Michael was driving the company truck loaded up with an excavator. As he took a sharp corner, he lost control around the bend, and the truck rolled damaging the excavator. Michael was ok; however, both the truck and the excavator sustained damage beyond repair.
